new laptop for new studie

next year is start at my new studie (NMCT, New Media and Communication Technologie) and i will need a laptop for it.

they reccomend this at there website:

 

CPU: i7-5200U

RAM; min 8gb, 16 would be better

GPU: 2gb ram

Storrage: SSD 

 

i got a max budged of 1.300-1.400 euro.

 

annywone got some suggestions for a good school laptop?

With that budget, pick a laptop with an i7-xxxxHQ processor, not a i7-xxxxU processor. The U processors are more energy efficient but also slower than the HQ processors.

screen size preferences?

i would say around 15" since i need to take it with me on bike and i will still got a good display size

its a good price for a 4k screen, and specs seems more than good enouf? the GPU is AMD.. never used AMD, or even know annything about it (nvidia fanboy here)
