CS:GO Bhopping

Tjomme

When I was younger I played CounterStrike Source a lot, I want to get back in the game and I downloaded CS:GO, I'm hearing about this thing called Bhopping... What is it exactly? And when I look on youtube I see people saying that they scripted or something... What is that?

Its a way to move quicker throughout the map and cheaters use something called a Bhop script where basically all you need to do is start moving and it automatically does it for you. This is really a problem and a huge advantage to a cheater because they can get to an opening angle much quicker, you could be walking down a-long and a cheater could already be waiting in pit for you.

Heres a little visual of it

Air strafing increases velocity, jumping quickly preserves velocity.

you played source but haven't heard of bhopping?

source is the home of bhopping.

I was young, every game for me was like 1 kill 99 deaths.

Although I remember people jumping like it.

It's a faster way to move around the map, learn it by yourself without scripts or don't even bother.

Computing enthusiast.
I use to be able to input a cheat code now I've got to input a credit card - Total Biscuit

Bhopping without cheating in considered the be one of the hardest things to master. I'm fairly good in games, and learn very quickly, and it's taken me almost a month of practice to only string together maybe 3-4 jumps, and inconsistently.

Watch some guides on it, then start an offline game and give it a try. Practice makes perfect (just... Lots of practice)
