CPU Showdown

So I'm building my first rig and money isn't too much of a problem when it comes down to the comparison between a couple products. My question is...is the 5930k worth the extra money for the little bump in ghz and pcie lanes? Or should I save my money and just go with the 5920k? I've been researching them a lot but would like to get some opinions from this awesome community! The computer will most definitely be used in other areas but gaming is the majority. Also I'll leave a list of some parts so it might help you with the question.

Motherboard: Asus x99 deluxe

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Ram: 16gb Corsair Vengence

If you need to know some more parts just let me know and I'll add them in. Thanks for your time!

Save yourself some money and get an i5 if you are going to game. But if you really want the i7 go for the 5920k

Only difference between the 5820K and 5930K is more PCI-e lanes and its not worth the money at all.

5820k owner here

5930k is 100% not worth it. 5820k and 5930k both overclock to the same frequency so there is no difference in mhz.

i would rec getting cheaper mobo n ram tho, unless you like overpaying for brand.
