Display Scaling off when using VGA to DP adapter?

I got an amazon basics VGA to Display Port cable, and now my monitor scaled oddly, nothing in the nvidia control panel seems to help. attached is a picture, in the picture it is hard to see but it is off centered about 1/2in. Any help would be appreciated.

Your monitor is using VGA timings.

You can not use GPU scaling through analog connections, or at least you can't use it reliably.

You need to adjust the screen sizes manually.

Using adaptors like this (VGA to displayport) is fully unsupported and at your own risk.
