Need help finding z97 motherboard that uses m.2 PCIe 3.0 4x.

I Need help finding z97 motherboard that uses m.2 PCIe 3.0 4x. I want it to use the 4x not dumbed down to 2x. Also i prefer the Asus brand. I have been searching but it is not clear to me. If anybody can help?

As fo PCI-E 3.0slots rated for 4x it's the same as PCI-E rated as 8x operation, something like the Z97-A would fit the build, how many expansion cards are you planning:

He's looking for a Gen3 x4 M.2 SSD slot, not an expansion card slot.

 

AFAIK there are no Z97 motherboards with this, since the CPUs used with those boards only have 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes, so there aren't really enough available to use for M.2 slots.

Z97 m.2 is locked at x2. X4 does not exist. Want x4 then its x99 or skylake.
