Is my psu enough?

ConnorDahne

I'm thinking of adding a second msi 970 to my system, and my psu is pretty wimpy..
I'd really like to just buy a new card and put it in, but will get a new psu if i absolutely have to..

650w Antec High Current Gamer, any XFX, any Seasonic should be more than enough.

You will need more wattage to be safe. 650W will be enough if you want to get the 650W GS.

You'd be fine 550W SLIing a pair of 960s. You'd be fine on 970s I would think but I would not go below 650W. You do *not* need 1000W for two 970s....
