Adding different thermal paste will only give you partial better temps. Probably unnoticeable unless you are coming from some old worn out real paste

I like this comparison, the guy who did it is an extreme overclocker and took a lot of work to make it.

IC diamond is one of the best, but, there are many that have basically the same performance and are cheaper. Linus uses it because it's reliable, it gives the same results over and over, but there are cheaper, easier to use TIMs that perform just as well.

It dont mather much, as long as you dont buy the cheapest you find.

But I like my thermal paste to be none conductive, like the Gelid GC-Extreme, so it dont mather if it spills over the edge (usefull for when dealing with GPU blocks).
