How begginer friendly is cs:go?

Not very in terms of pick up and do well immediately.

 

But it isn't difficult to get better at the game either if you want to.

 

If you're happy being Silver/Gold Nova and just play for fun do that, if you want to improve and go past Master Guardian do that.

 

Skill groups exist to accommodate all players.

 

Although there did seem to be more toxic players at the lower ranks than the higher ones in my experience.

Just find a server full of noobs and you won't have it as hard to start. it's way more begginer friendly than games like lol or dota (casual, don't even try to play competitive if you aren't good bc youre gonna get rekt and insulted there). I suggest you to start practicing with bots if you aren't confident enough to start pvp. Add me on steam masterp48hd i can play with you if you want

Every time I see these threads everyone always only talks comp, you guys do know that there is casual and a community server selection with different game modes to play, right?

 

@jonadegraaf CSGO can be very beginner friendly depending on where you start. Jumping into casual with some friends or going into community servers and playing Zombies, Surf, or DM 24/7 maps is very fun and very beginner friendly.

It is noob friendly. By that I mean it is very simple, easy to play and easy to get to a point where killing other beginners is easy. It requires minimal thought to be part of a winning side.

first FPS games i ever played was early CS builds and games like unreal tournament. This game is great to get into

the big difference from when i started is the community size, and how toxic it is these days
