How begginer friendly is cs:go?

jonadegraaf

I've never played a shooter. So is it any good to begin with?

Well first off a pretty hard game to play just a warning... now once you get into it though it can be pretty fun/addicting.

Start with titanfall or COD, then battlefield or CS:GO

Battlefield is a great platform to start on. Though it is EXTREMELY frustrating when constantly rekt by tanks. ;)

Just join a good clan and play the objectives.. Thats what I do. but chase some doritos on the side and get a good KD like me :)

You probably dont want to start with CS:GO the game has a very competitive nature and high skill-cap and it takes a lot of time to be good at and master the game. The community is also not the best noob-friendly one...

How about team fortress 2? Its free, it´s fun and it´s on the source engine aswell...

There is a wealth of content available on youtube which can explain some basics of the game, after that try and play with a few mates and level up together, you will learn at a faster rate and also enjoy seeing each other improve.

Yea I hated the fact you pay like 5000 funds just for one gun in heroes. except in play 4 free it was cheaper and they gave away codes for funds on christmas so i got op guns on play4free

This is not a game for beginners. I remember when I first started playing Counter-Strike; I thought I'd be getting killstreaks and steering helicopters.

It was pretty much the opposite of that. To put it nicely, I got fucking destroyed.

"put nicely" lol

Sure but only if you plan on playing casual or TDM, if you want to play the competitive game (the meat of the game really) then I would try getting some experience in

COD/Battlefield are more fun and beginner friendly IMO,
