NZXT h440?

matwoodson

Just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts on the h440 were, because I really like the design of the case and was thinking about using it for my next build. No optical drive support isn't a problem.

Front intake and top exhaust are pretty restrictive, but it is still awesome case.

Personally I like the Define R5 better, but the H440 is a nice case. I particularly like the Razer themed one, looks pretty cool even though I don't really like Razer.

It's got a little restricted airflow but most people can get past that

Its a good case, but I would personally go with the sexier Noctis 450.

Sure it may not have the sound dampening foam, but other than that. Its the same case, just different bezels and a different side panel.

Not sure if it would fit your tastes as its a little more "out there" than the classy and muted H440

Good case for looks and clean builds. Airflow is very restricted so you need to consider that when building.

Also you may not care (I do, I changed case because of it) everyone seems to have one of these and all builds ending up looking the same. If you want something unique looks somewhere else.

CPU - i7 8700K / Motherboard - ROG Strix Z370 E/ RAM - 32GB Cosair Vengeance DDR / GPU  - GTX 1080ti - EVGA FTW3 / PSU - Seasonic Snow Silent 750W / Cooling - Cryorig H7 Monitor - Acer X34 Predator / Sound - Corsair Void - Case - Meshify C

The top cover can cause some issues with top mounted rads but you should be fine, also get EVGA supernova G2 PSU, it is cheaper and really good ;)

And I hope that this isn't purely gaming build.

OK, I said that just because a lot of people are posting gaming builds on X99 platform :)

I went with the define r5 over the h440 mainly because of modularity and quietness.
