INTERNET RUNNING SLOW!

Hi So i just came back from my holiday and i dint turn on my computer for like a month, and this few weeks i just realized that my internet is running slow than it should be. not just my browser running slow even my games are running slow for example last time i used to have 5¬15 ping on CSGO but then now i have like 50++ ping. i dont know whats going on with my computer

 

-Using Ethernet 

-Running Spotify 

-Running TeamSpeak Server ( Same as last time )

Sounds like a virus!

First, update everything and install/uninstall drivers for ethernet.

Then, check your tasks that are running using your cpu. If there's anything fishy, report back to far base 1.

Good place to start is, I would do a general speed test on your internet and if you have another computer also do a speed test on that computer to compare.

Confirm slow internet speed on another device connected to internet.

Try resetting the router or switch depending on you setup.

For a quick and easy virus clean run a free program called ComboFix.

Make sure you reset your internet options to default.
