Slim 140mm PWM fans with high static pressure?

1Scotty1

Hey, folks

so I am in the market for two (or four, depending on price) fans to use with my Kraken X61.

Need to be:

140mm, PWM and high(er) static pressure, bust most of all, they need to be SLIM! - reason? I modded the top panel of my H440 and now I want to do push/pull and place two fans in the space between the top panel and the case. Regular 25mm thick fans wouldn't fit, as the space is roughly only 20mm, that is why I need SLIM fans.

Thank you for your time :)

I'm guessing you want the to be black and white.

Edit:This is actually really hard. No fans seem to be both thin and PWM.

@1Scotty1 Found these. Not sue about getting them in Europe Though.http://www.prolimatech.com/en/products/detail.asp?id=1906&page=1

Found them in the UK:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Prolimatech-Ultra-Sleek-Vortex-fan/dp/B00B1WQ4VA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1438597692&sr=8-1&keywords=Ultra+Sleek+Vortex+14

I found those Prolimatech here, but one small thing - they have 120mm mounting holes and I have no idea on how to mount them on my Kraken X61, seeing as it has 140mm holes :(

Ah i see. Damn mounting holes not being the same size as the fan.

Nope sorry the same thing

The XT140 is a round 140mm diameter fan with mounting holes matching a 120mm square fan

Those Thermaltakes... looking at their specs... not much static pressure, given the fact they are 20 dollar fans :(

Why didn't you buy a 240mm radiator silly man.

Buy these and use 120mm fans. Put them upside down.

/jk :P

You funny, I kill you last :D

But I don't get it, why they made 140mm fans with 120mm holes? why not at least make versions with 140mm holes also?

get some good fans with high static pressure (noctua tho) and optimize the airflow in your case with other Fans, this will give you better Temps.

I have the Same Case and what it severely suffers is fresh Air intake.

M8, I modded my front panel and top panel, literally cut out a big piece for better intake and I want two 140mm slim fans to place on the top right between the top panel and the radiator of the X61...

You could mount the fan(s) to the case in a position that covers the rad on the otherside, may require some moding.

This could actually hinder the airflow, since you have the fans pressing against the foam.

Tried the rad in front?

There is no foam left on the top panel... yes, I tried that, but wouldn't it mean more dust in fans and rad?
