Broken items? Why the hell would they do that? Do they want to end up like AMD?

First, follow your posts

Dude. Intel makes the highest end desktop CPUs, PERIOD. Their products are dependable, and they make way more products than just CPUs, like the compute stick and SSDs

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Impress upon him the complexity of a CPU. There are billions and billions of switches packed into the space of a few square centimeters, each one only a few dozens of ATOMS wide. Each of these is connected to thousands and thousands of others in an extremely precise and delicate arrangement, flipping on and off billions of times each second. If even one of them is leaky, or scratched, or has the wrong connection, the whole thing is useless. I feel confident saying that a microprocessor is among the most complex and intricate devices ever created by mankind. The fact we're able to make them at all, let alone in industrial quantities, is amazing. As an engineer, I can say that a zero-defect standard is simply unachievable, and the fact that defective products sometimes get through QA is no surprise to me. As long as the company stands behind their product and replaces defective units, there's absolutely nothing shady about it.

I would say uninformed or misled, not stupid.

Do they sell broken things? Within margin, when you are producing a bunch of things there is always some failure(but this would be on par with other manufactures cause you know, margin of error). Do they release some crappy stuff? Yeah, but who doesn't? I wouldn't call most of the Atoms, Core M, NetBurst chips(Pentium 4), or even Haswell(the TIM) good because of their flaws, but even then, Intel has learned from it and hasn't made the same mistakes since. All companies are shady...
