X99 choose :)

Go to solution Solved by Jlryan,

X99 Pro:

Dual Band WiFi

Slightly better Overclock potential

SEX port (Sata Express)

Looks better

That's basically it.

Is ASUS X99-PRO worth over ASUS X99-A ?

On alternate.de there is 55euro difference :)

Does anyone else wonder why we keep seeing SATA Express? IT seems like it was dead before it began. Now we have Thunderbolt and TB II, USB 3.1, both which can achieve the same speeds, but there are no drives for SATA Epress, it's kind of crazy. I see them on almost every board though.

Sata Express is fairly new, and no one has adopted it yet, It's only on it's first generation though so give it time. :)

The Intel 750 SSD uses Sata Express I believe, it's also the fastest consumer SSD on the market...
