Win10 upgrade gets stuck at splash screen

Hey guys.

So i wanted to do a nice fresh install of windows. so i made a flashdrive with the iso on it with rufus. but if i boot my pc from that drive, it gets stuck at the asrock splashscreen.

(MB: AsRock B85M-HDS bought before win10 came out)

What USB ports are you using? If you're using 3.0 try booting from a USB 2.0 port instead.

 

Also, not sure if you can do this but try burning it to a DVD and booting from the DVD instead. I find there is better compatibility that way.
