Vessel Causing PC Lockup and Crash

Hey guys,

So weird issue. Vessel seems to be completely locking up my pc. The only recovery is to hard reset the pc. If you wait it out the screen will eventually come back solid gray or some other color. This does not occur any other time then watching videos on Vessel.

PC Make: Dell Optiplex 980. This is a stock machine. Just a media streaming box.

It has an I3, 8GB of ram. No Gpu.

Anyone else experienced this?

Edit: The system is stable. Has had a 200 day uptime with no issues. ONLY OCCURS WITH VESSEL.

Windows 8.1
Google Chrome, as well as IE have been tried.

If vessel is crashing your system its probably not them, its probably your system not being stable.

Considering it only happens during vessel. This machine has had a 200 day uptime. The system is completely stable. Crappy response in my opinion.

I have tried Google Chrome, as well as IE. Both with the same result.

with windows 10 using the edge browser, I have noticed that using vessel I cant click on the progress bar during a video to skip ahead or go back in the video, I can only pause.

Honestly It's probably an issue with Vessel, that you can't do much about. I noticed videos locking up a bit since they've implemented the new quality options. Wait it out.
