Tips for First-time CES Attendee?

I recently found out I will be attending CES for the first time in 2016 (with a press badge no less!) and was curious to hear some tips or general advice from those who have attended in the past.  Such as, what are the best ways to access the hottest tech?  Is there anything I should schedule in advance?  Anything to avoid? Perhaps some lesser known perks of the badge?

I just know when I went to E3 I couldn't get access to a lot of stuff because they had appointments booked out weeks in advance, so I want to be prepared this time.

You should host your own booth showing people how they can double their internet speed for free.

Try emailing everyone you want to get video footage of their products and I'm sure most of them will be happy to give you a chance to make videos in their booths.

  1. Don't steal anything no matter how much you are tempted.

Don't stare at the girls in their scantly clad outfits...look but don't stare

Get as many swag as you can get even if you don't want it, sell it on ebay, these things go like a new iphone in a chineese store

Take a shower and ware a glasses or something and go back for any remaining swag at the different booths

Make a friend or two if you can

video tape what seems interesting

If you see the many youtubers that you/we watch, take some selfies(in you like that crap)

repeat 3 and 4 every day you go there

Don't get arrested

Come home safely

That's probably what I'll end up doing. I think most people schedule stuff in advance.
