Wattage?

Stoiseblas

I've changed a few things on my list of parts for my build recently and power supply calculators haven't been cooperating with me.  Can anyone recommend me a wattage or a specific PSU to use for this build?

Here's my part list:

Hard Drive:                        WD Green 2TB

The GS650 is a bit cheaper than the G2, and is around as good.

I've looked into the G2 and the only problem is that it would take around 2 months to get here and I'd like to start building within the next two weeks.  Are there any other similar power supplies I could check out?

Hey Stoiseblas,

depending on what you plan on doing with this build in the future, I would say a good 650W should be plenty. You can even go with a 550W-600W, but the fan of the PSU will spin up more frequently and you will be limited when upgrading this build or reusing the PSU in the future. I would recommend checking the reviews of the PSUs that you have available for purchase since waiting for the recommended one is an issue and thus decide on which one to get. :)

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
