A bit more progress, Added screws to the side panel, finished the 2nd door. And working on some more weathering textures on the grill to make it look like water has been running off it, that's still work in progress. And added hinges to the grill as well, so I can open it to clean the fan filters.

Input and feedback is welcome.

Cheers, Zen.

I'm going to be painting it as well but the font Fallout 4 will be lit with LED's
from the bottom. and the rest will be painted to mach the case.
the plan is to frame it and mount it to the top of the case like a billboard.

Here is a small step by step on the mounts for the billboard for the top of the case. will have two holding it up. I just need to work out the best way to make it work.

So much detail.

How did you get the rusty effect on pretty much everything? Is it rust or a way of painting?

Your workmanship is outstanding man!

This is great!

Thank you all so much for your awesome reply's It  mean's a lot to get your feed back.

Q: from MrBlame, How did you get the rusty effect on pretty much everything? Is it rust or a way of painting?

A: All of what you see is painted All of the case is made from alloy or plastic and painted to look like rusted steel.

Q: from aaro.permaa,  Do you think you might be doing a portal or tf2 themed mod?

Also how much did this mod cost?

A: I'm still think about what the next build will be. I have one or two in mind. but it's still to soon to be sure.

as for the cost. The only thing I got for this build that is new was the Asus Maximus vii Formula. I sold my older Asus z97 deluxe and save up for the Maximus vii Formula, Oh and the front ROG panel. saved for that too.

The rest of the hardware is second hand stuff from forums. The alloy and plastic used is off cuts from my work that no longer have any use. so I take what I can home with me.

The cost in labor is more then any one would ever pay for a PC. Cost in $ under $1000 For all the hardware and parts so far. Again add Labor to it and it's priceless. Or what ever someone is willing to pay.

I don't have any sponsors, I did try for some. But it's my fist build. I had no chance. lol

Thank you all again for liking this build. will add more again soon. :)

This is pretty cool, actually another cool idea also following the Fallout 4 theme would be taking from the before the nuclear fallout... Basically the retro '40s/'50s styling with the futuristic and modern flair.

So has Bethesda seen this yet?  I think they'd be interested in checking it out.

Great work.  I'm kind of speechless here.

I'm not sure if they would like it or not,  I'm to scared to even think about it  in case I have broken a trade mark real or some thing. I hope if they seen it and they like it. But I'm not sure if they have or not.

I'm not out to make money from it. just having some fun building it. :)

I was thinking of scratch building a case I have a design that has the 50's look to it. but that's for the to do list.  It's hard to find a PC case to start with that works with the fallout look.

This case cost me $50. again secondhand. but it dose have some roundness to it.
