600W 80+Gold SFX Silverstone PSU to overclock R9 270x?

jonnyyyl

Tinkering about here.

Specs as follows: 1 x 5.5'' drive, 3 HDDs and 2SSDs, have a i7-4771, 16GB 2133mhz hyperX DDR3 RAM and a R9 270x GPU.

I got a G10 bracket to fit into the R9 GPU, hooked to the Corsair H105. CPU is cooled by the Corsair H90 AIO cooler.

Would like to overclock RAM and GPU.

Would it be enough?

Thanks.

Would be enough for two 270x's.

Cheers guys.

Noob here. How do you guys figure that out?

Thanks.

we know about how much each component uses and calculate. for example a haswell cpu is like 100w. 270x is up to 200w at extreme loads. ssd 2-4w, hdd 5-10, dvd 20~, ram almost nothing, mobo 20-50. your pc at full load will use 300-350 or something like that, not a big deal. Could run all that on 450-500w psu comfortably.
