Philips 4k UHD TV

sms1202

Is this TV worth buying for future 4K Gaming and AMD HD3D (If I get an AMD GPU)

http://www.jmt.bg/productfiles/32575_4601.pdf

They claim 4k 60hz

No DisplayPort though :'(

Your opinions ?

Well, how much does it cost?

Also, you'll need an HDMI 2.0 compatible GPU to get 60Hz 4K, and currently AMD has no readily available solution yet for HDMI 2.0 on Fury/X

You won't find any displayport on TV dude. But i think as long as it has HDMI 2.0 u still can get 4K 60 Hz.

there are tv's with displayports.

Wow.. How does it cost?

Is it IPS or typical TV display?

what do you mean typical tv display. pretty much all tv's are either IPS or VA, I have never seen TN panel tv ever.

No idea how much it costs, but there are tv's with displayport.

I really need IPS badly, VA isn't a good option for my needs.

I also found that IPS TV isn't that accurate (from some TV that i've tested)

But that korean display which is reviewed by tek syndicate is quite interesting. But it's not available in my country just yet. It also has a good price.

what needs, if you need colour accuracy you don't buy a tv, it's not what tv's are for.

For couch gaming dude. But it will be nice if we can get both Size, resolution, color, and price in one device.

That will be very2 nice.

I think im getting too old to sit on a single chair in front of desk and monitor lol

Ah.. Yea.. U should try it dude. I dont have PS4 yet. But i really love my PS3 back in the day.

Those 30fps? Meeehh.. It doesnt affect anything as long as it gives u constant FPS output.

playing MGS4 on a couch is still one of the best gaming experience i've ever had.

Yea.. PC is better hardware. I also have a quite nice gaming rig. But there's nothing wrong with consoles. They serve well with their own way

A TV is something you buy so you can have a big picture. If you want a color-accurate picture that's what a monitor is for.

It says HDMI for 4K @ 60Hz, and HDMI 2.0 is required for 60Hz over 4K, since HDMI 1.4 will only do 30Hz

Dont worry buddy. I know that. I'm using dell U2410 right now which is a wide gamut 10 bit panel.

Its an awesome display bith for gaming and working.

But we're talking about couch gaming here. I think it will be nice if there's a monitor that can be used for couch gaming and also nice for working but still has a reasonable price.

I think that korean monitor from tek syndicate will be a nice option. Still learning about this product till now
