Need help upgrading to windows 10

I reserved my copy of it like 6 weeks ago and I still haven't received my notification saying I'm ready to update. What am I doing wrong.

No, when you download it it asks if you want to upgrade this computer

Dude I would've thought yourself lucky. Windows 7 is hard to come by now, and the way I see it, Windows 10 is an alternative to 7, not an upgrade.

There isn't a torrent version avail? I checked pirate bay but didn't see a crack/patch/keygen

I suppose you can on Bootcamp, VmWare and Parallels. I think they all should work.

If you're running a pirated version of windows you will get the upgrade, but with no security updates, so prepare for your desktop to be basically filled with ads that say "your computer is dirty, download this virus to clean it."

You can't get a tech preview, not legit or that I know off, once the week of the upgrade came through the Insider program closed the download to the tech preview to the public.
