ASUS PB258Q 1440p monitor

looking for a replacement monitor, currently looking at this one as it is 1440p and has a frameless design which would benefit me in triple setup.  The only thing is the 27" Asus PB278Q is only like $40 more, but has a thick bezel.  Is there anyone with the smaller monitor with input on how it looks, or any input on the benefit to one size over the other since resolution and refresh rate are identical.  The uses would be from photo/video editing to playing games (rpgs mostly, have a 144hz for fps).

which GPU do you have? PB has freesync (amd) iirc and PG has gsync (nvidia)

I have the Dell U2515H which is a 25" 1440p monitor. The PB258Q uses the same panel as the Dell.

 

DPI will be greater when compared to a more traditional 27" 1440p. This equates to sharper/clearer image.

that PG278q has gsync, look into Acer XB270hu, its basicly the same but with IPS
