No,not really.All those ccleaners and pc tuneup and register cleaning softwares are pure garbage and they do more harm than good

Not unless there are things bogging it down. software cant speed up your pc if its working as fast as it can.

there are softwares that clear junk files or disable unecessary programs wich will decrease memory usage and therefore can improve performance

there is also software for overclocking your gpu wich can give you more performance.

So the answer is yes

No, but uninstalling programmes is very helpful. and also defragging your HDD is too.

What?! Afterburner is a program! And it wasn't specified HOW to increase performance specifically...

i disagree, cleaning up doesn't really help speed per say but if you're smart you shouldn't make it worse. CCleaner has fixed a few things for me.
