Audio Technica AT2020 XLR Light not showing?

BOTBALL

So I have an AT2020 XLR microphone with a Scarlett Solo Compact mixer. I believe the mic is working, as my computer recognizes it as "Scarlett Solo Compact USB Interface" but no blue light (not sure if it is an LED or not) is shining inside of the mic. I am unsure if this feature is only available for the USB version of the microphone, but I am just wondering why mine isn't showing. Thanks!

I´m pretty sure that the XLR variant doesn´t have a led because there is no integrated audio interface thingy.
