Best Headphone 2015 for 60-150€ (BASS) (Dubstep)

MLG420SwagYolo

TRIED THE ATH-M50X , was disappointed. i didnt like them at all.

so here it is i dont want audiophile/studio headphones...

so here my "new request" hope im not annoying you:

_______________________________________________________________________

audioquality: i want headphones with powerful bass / clean bass / and warm, nice, smooth, clean sound "that just means i dont want scratchy/annoying sound" so electronic music just sounds cool/nice?

comfort: i have a big head and big ears, so i want some overear headphones which are very comfortable and big. im also using them for my PC mainly , (have a asus z97-pro gamer, using its sound onboard should be nice enough). also i always listen to music / play games , in long sessions. 8 hours or so.

features: dunno if i can call it a feature, but a removable/changeable/replacable cable would be nice or a lifetime warranty. *but would prefer the replacable cable*

what im currently listening on: even my steelseries siberia elite prism sound nice, but i want something better... headsets are usually crappy in sound, then again they sound better (in my eyes) than the audio technika ath m50x.

well thats all i want about a headphone, shouldnt be that hard, i usually look for frequencies and db/mw and driversize. but it seems like specs alone dont tell me how good a driver is.

anyways there should be something... (i currently am sending back ath m50x and bought the beyerdynamic custom one pro instead , for testing) but i still want some help if the custom one pro sound crappy, then im gonna need your advice for a good headphone that fits my needs.

I use the teufel Aureol Massive. They have fantastic Audio quality and are very high quality. I would classify them as rather bass heavy.

high, so im looking for a headphone, preferably where i can unplug the cable and for dubstep music, it has to be very bass heavy. im ready to spend 60-150€ , but i really want the best audioexperience.

Bro , random question, where do you even live? I can't really help you if you're outside of Europe ( because that's where I specialize ) , if you are outside of Europe then sorry I can't do much.

europe.

im still looking for a headphone, i was thinking about buying ath mx50's but then again i read they dont have powerful bass....

i basically want powerful bass but still nice sound , there must be something... not sure if custom one pro's (by beyerdynamic), or teufel aureol massive, or something completely different...

when i look at "stats" i compare the frequenzies min/max, dB , and the "driver".... so i cant really tell , if i go by specs, then it still might be wrong...

hope someone can help me^^ ( i listen to dubstep/drumnbass )

here is a fun fact when i was in the market to buy a headphone :

i narrowed down into 2 option when i wanted something that was a allrounder with a bit emphasis on bass ,

it was either the Audio technica ATH-m50x , OR the koss ProDJ 200 ,

now what I'm suggesting is that you go with koss because of there lifetime warranty is included in there headphone .

here is the review in Head-fi : http://www.head-fi.org/products/koss-pro-dj-200/reviews/7835

and here is the headphone : http://www.koss.com/en/products/headphones/full_size_headphones/PRODJ200__PRODJ200_Full_Size_Headphones

its about 15 e or more euros cheaper than the ATH-m50x .

if you would like , i can digg the net for the best possible headphone i can find for 60 to 150 euros .

thanks and stay groovie :D.

p.s , i listen to funk fusion songs and Daft Punk with my ATH m50x :)

To comment on the Koss ProDJ line see if you can find Koss ProDJ TBSEs locally. The Tony Bennet Special Edition has the removable cable of the ProDJ 200 but without the online controls and can be found a bit cheaper.

Both headsets have good bass but while I prefer the Koss brushed aluminum, superior build quality, and lifetime warranty do consider the ATH-m50x are much bigger, full sized cans with an around ear design rather than the Koss's on-ear one.

A better Koss equivalent would be the Pro4S as those are full sized too.

I would look into the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm version. Doesn't have a removable cable, but it is built like a tank. If you're interested you could always mod them to have one.

Did you not read this? ^^^

come on bro's help me out :D

That, right there is pretty much what you're looking for. All Koss products since the 80s have had a lifetime warranty, that they STILL honor. Just get the Koss and be done with it.

Also, you won't really get headphones with detailed bass, but also a ton of it, unless you start spending pretty large sums of money.

Also, there is a Basshead thread over on head-fi that you should check out: http://www.head-fi.org/t/716711/the-hardest-hitting-headphones-are-the-extreme-bass-club

yeah i've seen this, but i was also recommended ath m50x's and they sounded like a 20$ headphone to me. and weak as heck. and i thought he meant that they are on the level as the ath m50X's

anyways, im gonna check out the koss pro4s , if the custom one pro's wont satisfy me.

the custom one pros would probably to a better job, but I don't think beyer has a lifetime warranty or a removable cable.

UAC Review just released the video review about this headphone, but I've tried it before and I can indeed recommend it for bass lovers: Sony MDR-XB950BT

First off, thank you for the first paragraph. No, really, I've been bashing the M50X's for quite a while now.

Second, my recommendation would be the XB1000. But, if someone puts the Beats Solo 2 for sale or discounted price, brand new, that would be a really good bass-head headphone (I'm not fucking kidding, the second gen Beats sound great... but the price is so... not fitting for it. If it was priced like the M40X, not the 50X, it would be awesome. Wish 1st gen Beats were like this to begin with)

My Grading System on headphones: SS= 98-100, S= 95-97, A+= 91-94, A= 86-90, A-= 81-85, B+= 76-80, B= 71-75, B-= 66-70, C+= 61-65, C= 56-60, C-= 51-55, D+= 46-50, D= 41-45, D-= 36-40, F+= 31-35, F= 26-30, F-= 21-25, Tier 1 crap= 16-20, Tier 2 crap= 11-15, Tier 3 crap= 6-10, Dahell tier= 1-5, No hope= 0                 Nevertheless, "Enjoy what you enjoy without starting some silly culture war" - Lachlanlikesathing. If you Recommend the M50/X in a thead, I would probably send you a dick pic.

You could get used ones for $110, that's a really good price
