$100ish Headset (or $60ish headphones) with a great soundstage for FPS and music?

I've already decided not to get Dolby 7.1 because everyone says that it's not really necessary and there is convincing evidence too (just a little background, I play my fair share of CS:GO). (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/331886-71-headphones/) Well anyways, I figured out that a good soundstage can make a difference though. Apparently, a good one can let you hear stuff farther away that you wouldn't hear on headphones with a mediocre soundstage. It's just that I don't know any headsets with good soundstages under $100. Also, if you recommend a pair of headphones, can you please make it under or equal to $60 because I intend to use a ModMic 4.0 ($40) if I don't use a headset. Thanks.

TLDR: Well you're lazy lol, but please recommend a $100ish headset, or $60ish headphones with a good soundstage. Thanks.

I don't know much about headphones/headsets, but I bought hyperX cloud few days ago and it is fantastic, the mike is not great though, I think that cloud II has better mike but I am not sure.

You might want to look at the Razer Adaro Stereos if you're going to be doing gaming and listening to music.

AD500x / HD518 + mod mic (or zalman clip on) if you can squeeze it in would probably be the best option, or a pair of hyperX clouds.

The HyperX Cloud is really what you are looking for. Amazon has a comparisation chart between the two generations (http://i.imgur.com/WA3r5PP.png) but it's not all that accurate, the only diferences between the two (in my experience) are the colour and the added 7.1 virtual surround dongle, which also improves sound quality and volume if you do not have a separate sound card. Price difference between the two is only 10$ (80$ and 90$).

There is not much difference between the Cloud I and II, the mic is slightly better and they have that USB sound card (with 7.1, which I personally wouldn't use). The sound card can also improve mic quality quite a bit, onboard sound cards often have a really crappy mic input, the audio output is mostly fine nowadays though. So personally, I'd spend those extra 10$ and get the Cloud II, they are pretty much the best headset you can get at that price point. The sound is very clean, the mic has ok quality and they are comfortable for most people. I just recently switched to Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro's with a dedicated DAC/AMP which was an awesome upgrade, but I was amazed at how good and clean the HyperX Clouds sounded which I used before.
