Current specs: Pentium e5500 2,80 ghz lga 775, 4x1 gb ram, geforce gt 730 2gb.

I wonder if i should upgrade this or get a ps4. I can't wait until i can buy a new pc since that will take like 1,5+ YEARS.

I dont know, it looks like the only thing u could keep is  your HDD.

If u are on a very tight budget, get a console and use the pc just for web browsing etc

if u think you can spend a little more than 450 usd we can help you make a "console killer" ( lol )

Also tell us where do you live and your currency.

I would buy a Core 2 Quad (No Modding required) or a Quad core Xeon that the socket is LGA 771 (Modding required) second hand for $25

I would buy a GTX 750ti for about $100

And buy an SSD (Because they are awesome)

Ram is not crucial,  I don't know the PSU so i don't know and the HDD is fine too.

For the money of a ps4 you could get a cheap mb,the g3258 and an 750ti or even better a r9 270.

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

A small for factor case is not hard to find and with a hdmi cable you don't have to move the monitor if you have a tv.Is the same stuff anyway

Yes I would.

Make sure it says the CPU has been tested and working and you can return it if it is DOA

Here is a build, keep in mind this is de. partpicker

I say that with 450 euros this is the build that you should try to get

http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/fm4bYJ

Otherwise try to search for some used parts, u can get your hands on core 2 quad, even 1st-2nd generation i3 -i5

in the same price range, and a used gpu like HD 6xxx series, 7xxxx series or even R7 250/250x/260/260x/265 or 750 ti

The site has changed....

so let me compare: specs after upgrading: quad core cpu, gtx 750 ti, 4gb ram. vs. PS4, i can take it with me. play all games without worrying about if my pc can handle it. And the the upgraded specs, how will it play games like ac black flag, gta v, league of legends? I play at 1080p.

I would imagine GTA V is the most intensive game there and this person said that the FPS was around 40-60FPS (note this is 1366x768):
