WD Black or Seagate Hybrid?

GO WITH THE BLACK2.

WD Dual black (hybrid?) or just WD Black? If so if you're after performance, I don't think it's worth getting WD Black. Get an SSD instead.

Seagate Hybrid should be good, performance + mass storage segmentation is A-OK. I'd get a hybrid from WD than Seagate though...

I said WD Black, not WD Dual Black, and I do have an SSD, I just want faster mass storage.

I don't think it's worth getting the WD black for the original MSRP unless you get a really good discount for it.

Which one should I buy?

Hey Chugle,

Since you already have a SSD for the OS you are not likely to benefit from a hybrid drive for massive storage, unless you access a few of the files/applications on that drive much much more frequently than others. SSHDs calculate what you use mostly from the drive and store the load files from these things on the 8GB SSD portion for faster access. Other than that it might even work slower than a high-performance drive such as WD Black (usually SSHDs come with a 5,400rpm drives with relatively lower transfer speeds). I'd go with a pure HDD for secondary massive storage.
