Alright well I connect it to the gpu using hdmi and it doesn't work... Nor does it with the mobo

Does your system power on correctly? IE fans spinning, lights on, etc.

Sorry for the late response was reading the manual and tried to fix it. I am using hdmi. And I have it connected and the computer and monitor are both on. The manual said that the monitor needs to be turned on first, while the computer second. I don't really know. I might try getting a DVI and using that.

Yes I have power because I see the monitor turned on. The monitor is powered on. And Yes the system has power. The cpu fans are running, the lights, all of it including chassis fans.
