Need advice on new gaming pc please

Go to solution Solved by VioDuskar,

looks great, might swap the v300 SSD though for an intel or samsung one.

keep the 750W PSU some will say it's overkill, but it will last you for many many years.

I am going to build a custom pc and need some advice if maybe there is any bottle-necking or where something else would be better for a lower price. Budget is about 1600 euros.

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM

Definitely no bottlenecking, and 750 watts? How much overclocking do you plan to do?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Thank you everyone i will replace the ssd. Regarding to the psu, I do not plan on doing any overclocking so I assume 750W would be enough

Get some large storage solution (TheCookieGuru above has a good suggestion) And maybe change that SSD to something like a Samsung or even a crucial, I've heard alot of bad things about the V300

If you're not overclocking, then 750W is more than enough.

Fair enough, over looked that, but the fact stands 1TB isn't much thesedays, I would be upgrading / adding an additonal TB atleast.

Regarding data its not a problem as i only have 3 to 4 games installed at once maybe 300 gig for games and rest for other stuff and backups. As you said, maybe in the future i would need to add more data :)

Yeah, should be fine then for the first few months, although I started out like that and then I ended off becoming a compulsive hoarder of data....

I've never actually heard of a build without mass storage... but then again, I'm new to world of computers.
