Do good mobo's need Amp or dac or both?

Unless the volume isn't loud enough at 80% or you are experiencing static/interference, you don't need either of those things.

I'm currently using MSI Z97 gaming 5 for my mobo and hyperx cloud 1 headset

do I need to buy amp or dac? I mean do I really need to?

This video might help. Long story short, you don't need an amp or dac unless you're an audiophile probably.
