How to install graphics card

Guys basically my gpu is a windforce g1 970 and I'm puttin it in to my case and there and two power cable things they both say PCI e on them and I have two fits on my gpu and two cables I plugged both of them in? Am I doing it correct?

You stick it in the slot and plug in the appropriate cables, 6 pin/8 pin, etc. If there's an 8 pin slot you can use either an 8 pin PCIe cable or 6+2 pin PCIe cable.

Dont forget to switch your video cable to your gpu.

No but it happend to my friend and it took over 2 weeks to figure it out.

I wasted 3 days troubleshooting until I realized I didn't plug in my CPU 12v Connector 

Because he had a hard drive.

Yes I have the same card, plug both in.

Some PSU cables will have a single 8pin and onother for 6pin, others have both in the same cable and others comes with both a 6 and a 6+2. Either way you want to fill the holes with PCIe power cables. It does not matter if the cables are separate, as long as it is PCIe cables or "VGA" cables, which are the same just different names.
