APU - AMD A10 7870k PROBLEMS!

Hello.

Well, i just bought a new PC..
Its a cheap version, with an AMD A10 7870k.
I build it my self..

The problem is, i get BSoD, freezing, crashes and really low FPS, like 11-20 average, in games like F.E.A.R. on low settings (Its from 2005) and even 720p..
All my hardware is updated with the latest. My APU is watercooled, so its not hot.

Don't mind the RAM, i have Corsair 1800Mhz dual-channel.

I hope somebody might be able to help me.. If i missed any information, just tell me and i will see what i can do.
Am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Reinstall all your drivers (the correct ones, be sure), reset all BIOS settings, make sure it's not overheating, check the health of your storage drive(s), and if all else fails go and reinstall Windows.

I did this like.. 3x times now.

First i got Windows 10, then i got 4 BSoD, so i re-installed Windows 7, now the BSoD has stopped, but it freezes and the performance is shit..

Do you have some spare hard drive you can install 7 on and see how it goes?

Well, i have an 2TB HDD, just not plugged in.

Should i try installing Windows on that?

I have currently Windows running on my Kingston SSD. Brand new, just picked up yesterday.

Your Ram seems to be running at an 1333 MHz, so go into the bios and  change that. that should increase your fps quite a lot

Yep. Is that a V300 SSD? Those are pretty faulty.

Your Ram doesn't appear to be running at its max, that screen shot shows it running at 1333mhz, i'd makes sure you have it set to 1866 in your bios if that is in fact your rams top speed.

If it's a bug in speccy, then that explains that.

DDR - Double Data Rate, multiply what it says by 2. Regardless, going from 1333 to 1866 does zip for performance.

If he is using the integrated graphics then he will gain more fps through higher clocked memory

You should take a gander at the original post..

Try install 7 and your drivers on that 2 TB drive and see how it goes. If it's still acting up it might be your hardware.

I did and it says that OP is using an A10-7870K APU which has an igpu and there is NO mention of another gpu whatsoever.

Ahh, I keep thinking it still has the gimped R5 level junk. Yeah 1866 would help a bit but still not that much and only for 3D applications, not whole system usage.
