Windows 10 Desktop spacing

ninjapants

hi,

after upgrading my pc from win7 to 10, i realised that a lot of apps had compatibility issues an/or were poorly adjusted. So i decided to do a fresh install (i also wanted to convert my ssd to gpt so i can use UEFI). When i was running the upgraded version, a had my normal desktop layout, with files folders evenly spaced, like in a normal folder. now, after the frash reinstall, there are huge gaps between the rows... like, with the old spacing 3 icons would fit vertically where there are now 2. and i cannot find the settings for this. is there a registry hack or something i can do?
