Will this work for gaming on 1080p 144hz

Gabenn

That will do fine. AAA titles is a maybe though. there are some things that just are too much so you may hit around 80-90 on some games, but most it will work fine.

Edit: Why the hell are there 2 different monitors? Just pick one, or if you must go with 2 get the same one lol

I want to use this build to game on 1080p at at least 70 fps on most games ultra to take advantage of the 144hz monitors. Will it work? Build; http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mr.pcman/saved/vR7dnQ

Just out of curiosity, why did you decide to taint yourself with that particular person who canceled Half Life 3?

Because even if half life 3 is cancelled (which i would be pissed about) he still gave us steam and the sales

If youre just going to be gaming, whats with the expensive CPU?

1. Because it's a pretty good gaming cpu and 2. Because i might do youtube down the road

if you want a less expensive cpu cooler that will perform very well, you could go with the noctua nh-d14 or nh-d15

looks like a great build

i would get noctua fans over corsair. the nf-s12a pwm is the case ventilation fan from noctua. the nf-f12 pwm is meant for radiators and cpu heatsinks

with your build, i would be playing 1440p instead of 1080p

a less expensive, but great case would be the fractal design arc xl

you should think about getting a 4tb seagate hybrid sshd

Thank you for the suggestions. I want to keep it at 1080p so i can take a bigger advantage with the 144hz monitors. When i upgrade to sli gtx 980 ti i will definitely go 1440p, though. :)

do you have a 1440p monitor that you can just set to 1080p? that would be ideal if you're really going to go for that upgrade in the future

i'm pretty sure you're able to set a 1440p monitor to 1080p right?

You can, by it looks a little strange. I've decided I'll just sacrifice a few fps and play on 1440p

Saving a bunch of money, looks much better, performance is the exact same. (Maybe better.) Heard the MSI 980 Ti is quite a beast.

oh yea... and screw a cd/dvd drive. 2015, it's a nice year.

oh, and your PSU sucks. (What people in these forums say.)
