Cheapest way to get a Canon T5

So, I'm really considering nagging my mom to get me one of these eventually, and I need to know how to get the price as low as possible. I'm not really sure what else to say, other than think long term (like November or so), since it will probably be a while. Until then... Here's a pizza.

My lord I hate used stuff. I found JUST the body for $259, but I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not, especially since I'd still have to find some kind of lens that can pull off close focus shots and so on.

not sure if this works as its a much cheaper camera, we went to dubai costs around £300 to go there. We brought a canon 5d mark 2 for £700 around the time that mark 3 just came out. The sellers wanted to get rid of the stock because everyone wanted the new variant, later my dad was like screw it and brought another mark 2 from canon themselves, same quality from both

new the body and a kit lens(18-55 is) is $399. Probably a little high for used.

There was a groupon thing my aunt found for a t5 with a bunch of stuff for $500.

As for macro you can go the cheap way and just hold the lens reverse to the body. Works better with full frame lens. Or spend a little and get macro tubes. I have some and they work good.

As far as I know, it doesn't do 720p/60 which I kinda would like, as well as it being a lower resolution which is a total bummer.
