Can´t extend disk

Hello, I need to resize my disk C: but I can´t. 

I´ve reduced D: to extend C: but the option is in gray.

OK are these 2 disks 2 physical hard drives or SSd's or are they 2 partitions on the same physical disk?

Ok, and why don't you just make the whole disk one partition?

Yeah, that could be. Can you tell me how to do it? I do not want to lose the data on D:

I don't know how it could be done without reformatting the disk, which would clear all of the data.
