The windows 10 update didn't work.

Sorry, I've been posting a lot of windows 10 stuff. So I got the notification to restart my computer so I did. The computer said it was installing things. Once I got in, nothing happened. The next day, (today) in the update log, there was windows 10 pro and its status was failed. Help is very appreciated.

Do you run any 3rd party antivirus software? If so, shut down them completely.

Through Windows update.

Check for update.

It says no important updates. and 42 optional ones wich are not windows 10

Install of those updates and then check it again for Windows 10.

No. You can hide them, and check for updates again.

 

What does the 'Get Windows 10' app says?
