But the OP is the one started  because first i thought he meant USP pistol but he actually not so he should put parentheses on USP word to make it less confuse.

Lmao, I was really stumped when OP was talking about buying one because his relative's power went out.

But trying to be on topic: I think that one seems good. It has good reviews on Amazon, haha. I'm not too much help because I don't know too much ab out UPSs. Honestly you'd probably get more knowledgeable people in the PSU subforum (or maybe Gen Discussion since it gets more traffic).

My psu is a evga supernova 1300 G2. I'm planning on powering my PC,TV and modem. The UPS will allow me to shut my PC down correctly and turn the tv off leave the modem on pretty much.

Do you happen to know your max power draw from your system or have component list at 1300W of a PSU I'm assuming it's a pretty hungry beast.

I would personally recommend looking at APC brand for a UPS they are pretty much the leader in terms of UPS's.

As long as your system and monitors and TV don't exceed the 865W rating or 1500VA this would be a good unit to choose:

I bought the 1300W PSU for future proofing pretty much.

Parts list:

Gigabyte Ultra Durable Black Edtion Mobo - http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5102#ov

I was planing on getting another for SLI - EVGA 760 - no longer available - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-nvidia-geforce-gtx-760-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card/1491561.p?id=1219052515813&skuId=1491561

Corsair Vengence Ram http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz8gx3m2a1600c9b

Crucial 120GB SSD - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RQA6LQY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Two 1TB harddrives - One is used for mass storage and the other is for backups/restores etc.

Cheap disk/dvd reader/writer

I plan on swapping the case out to a corsair vengence c70 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007S02GMA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2D0HKEMRW6WFO&coliid=I3HXSEU065QXTK&psc=1

and adding better fans with a corsair link device to control the fans.

For that system it shouldn't use more than 600W so the APC unit I previously linked would work well for that and give you extra for peripherals if you fully load the system.

You're gonna buy a UPS so  you can blow dry air when the power goes off?

Can Anybody Link A Virtual Machine while I go download some RAM?

No. My sister-in-law was blow drying her hair and the power went out on the bedroom side of the house(50ish to 60ish year old house) causing power loss on my system and the ssd wiped everything.
