Was just wondering when I reserved a copy of windows 10 I had to reinstall windows 7 because I got a new hard drive. Was just wondering if I would still get the chance to upgrade because there isn't a windows 10 flag at the bottom right of my screen thanks.

As long as your Windows 7 copy is legitimate, and fully up-to-date, you'll be able to upgrade to Windows 10 any time from now to July of next year.

They link it to the Motherboard now but if it is a fresh install then you just have to wait or go and do it yourself

Just keeping this here as a Easiest way to get Windows 10 is get the official media creation tool from HERE and install Windows 10 that way. Make sure you have "Upgrade this PC now" selected when you launch it and then it will download Windows 10 and go through the upgrade process. In my case I didn't need to use the product key and Windows 10 was activated after install. Just select to keep all of your files and settings so that all of it moves over as well.
