Crowbar_XL
Go to solution Solved by TheMcSame,

Try the update troubleshooter. It'll work for 8 even though it says 7.

I left Windows 10 installing at like 2%, i come back and i find myself at the windows 8.1 login screen, i login, and see this:

Will try installing Win 10 now and will report on it's status. Thanks.

Edit: Lol, oh god damn it, i clicked retry and now it is re-downloading it  :( it had a setup.exe file in that temp folder (before i clicked retry since it deleted the files), maybe should've tried that... ugh. Now i have to wait for the download again.

Go to this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Once you landed on that page, click " Download Tool Now( Whatever OS version you have). For instance, if you have 32 bit OS click download " Download Tool Now(32bit version), if you have 64 bit OS click " Download Tool Now(64Bit)". After you got the application downloaded, click run and then click " Upgrade this PC". This should taking care of Windows 10 setup.

I also recommend you take a picture(using your cellphone or smartphone) of the applications you have on your desktop because my upgrade processes delete CPU-Z and CPUID HWMonitor.

I'm still downloading it through updates, since update troubleshooter seems to have fixed some issues, i'll try it one more time through windows update, and then i'll try what Jerky said.
