Windows 10 Not installing.

I reserved my windows 10 upgrade and I am all hyped up but I started the update and whenever it says just need to restart to install I restart and it just says the same thing, do I need my cd for windows 8 or am I doing something else wrong?

How do I do it right?

I assume you're using Windows 8.1 (Windows 8 is NOT eligible for upgrade)

Are all your updates installed? By all I mean every single update available (drivers not included) in the Windows Update tab.

Did Windows prompt you to install or are you using a workaround?

Windoes prompted me to install then it keeps prompting me to restart and yes I am using 8.1 and yes I have all updates

There's people that don't have a genuine copy of Windows. Could have been that.
