Much picture diffrence - ROG 27 vs PB278QR

Hi,

 

would the Asus PB278QR have the same picture/colour quality as the new soon to be released Asus PG279Q that will have IPS. I am aware that no one has actually reviewed this ROG monitor as of yet, most reckon it will be similar to that of the Acer predator. But being such an expensive monitor does the Asus ROG have anything more premium about it other that the fast response times and physical look and gaming features.

 

I play games but not a lot and when I do, I play the following Wow, Diablo, LoL, Sims, GTA, Witcher. Should I wait and shell out for the ROG or just get the PB27?

The PG279Q is 144Hz and has G-SYNC, the PB278QR is 60Hz. The color will likely be pretty similar though.

I think it'd be better to save the money in your case.
