Buying a new PSU

I want to buy a new psu mine is a cheap one so i want a good one, which psu should i buy? i prefer corsair

Motherboard: Asus Maximus vii Ranger

CPU: i5-4590 3.30GHz

GPU: Gainward Gtx 770 phantom

To get a high quality corsair you will be paying more then you want. Corsairs high quality ones are over priced.

Get a XFX, SeaSonic, EVGA GS or G2 series

Corsair doesn't actually "make" the PSUs so there's no reason to buy a Corsair over anything. If anything you should avoid them if you want to get your money's worth.

 

You'll be fine on an EVGA 550W GS/G2/B2 or Antec HCG. Anything from Seasonic is good. Check out the link in my sig for good PSUs.

Corsair RM series, CS series, AX series, AXi series, HX series.

CS + RM aren't great for the money, and everything else is pretty much overpriced also
