What Graphics cards are out there that are less then 4ins in height?

Go to solution Solved by 79 Potatoes,

i want to use it to play games in 1080p smoothly.

one more question, I have a PSU that goes up to 220. Right now it is on 150, will this GPU work properly with the PSU I have now and if not what upgrade can I get that will fit my case?

It's enough. CPUs with HD 4600 iirc are top end i3 (like 4370), i5s and i7s, so you're atm taking 80 W max at full load, this GPU should draw something around 50 W or less at full load.

I have a Inspiron Small Desktop 3647 with a height limit of 9.4cm (3.7 in)

Is there a graphics card out there that fits this limit and perform great in 1080p?

MSI and Gigabyte have LP GTX 750 Ti, gimme a sec

EDIT: @neckoblack nvm, you need 2 slots free. Yes, you've 2 slots but PCI-e x16 is the last slot, near to a side so they won't fit.

You'll need to buy your new GPU straight from your pc manufacturer.

Have u seen those external graphics card devices. Maybe u should get that and get the 750ti as it has very little power consumption

Yes... unless you really, really want to keep the case, you'd migrate to a bigger case (if you've one) and put a new GPU in there as I see it's a haswell PC so it isn't too old.

At the price of that+PSU for it (without counting GPU) he can buy a mITX MB and then put a GTX 750 TI LP without any problems, with full PCIe bandwidth and keeping the case closed

Or even better, a case with full PCI slots and a PSU with any GPU he wants

You don't need a psu for a 750 ti and his current psu can handle the adapter. It is also useful for laptops which surprise many of us have
