If they're Windows 8 and up computers just link each with your Microsoft account and then use that to login on all of them. Or of course you could just set the passwords to be the same. Not sure about Mac though.

No you can't combine a Apple or whatever account with a Microsoft account. There isn't a universal one either. Just use the same login info for both and it'll be pretty much the same.

Sure. I don't know exactly what you mean by "identity", but yes. The name of your computer means nothing. But if they are all named the same they can be hard to distinguish on the network (if you want to transfer files to one another).

I don't believe there's any universal account for all of those sorry. They're all different companies and have competition with each other so wouldn't really want to merge to make one login for all of them.

Well, wait. Are you trying to fold under the same name? As in, you want to see how many points you get? If so, you will want to use the same name, and make a password so other people don't claim to be you. But, no, it doesn't "matter", as in it will not negatively affect anything. I hope this is what you are actually asking.

I have tried to instal fah on ubuntu once, and it totally didn't work right. So, I can't help you there.

I think he means using the same Folding@Home ID and passkey on multiple computers.

The answer to that is yes, just put the same details in on any of the computers.

Gaming/Folding rig: Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced White | MSI Z77A-G43 | Intel Core i7 3770k @ 4.4GHz | 10GB G.Skill RAM | Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 | Samsung 840 Pro 128GB | Seagate 2TB | Seagate 2TB | WD Blue 640GB | Cogage Arrow (Passive) | Thermaltake Toughpower XT 675w | Windows 10 Pro
