Is this graphics card a good deal?

sixsamuraiplayer

For light gaming like popular stuff. An R7 370 would be a better option though

I think so. The 750 Ti is a great card for 720p/1080p medium/high gaming.

Meh, it's an okay price. I got my old 750 Ti for $89.99 after a rebate.

Nope, you can get R7 265s cheaper than this.

It's the right price for it. What do you need it for?

i need it to play minecraft and my dad wants to use it to surf the web

is this one good? http://www.frys.com/product/8021564?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

im on a budget and i live near Frys

For minecraft it will be plenty, and graphics cards won't really make any difference in surfing the web. What are the other parts in your computer?

I can't be sure, but considering minecraft is a very light game you should be able to stay above 60.

I have low standards

You don't understand I went from a celeron G1620 to using a i5 3450 and it almost tripled my fps in Minecraft.

I then went from using onboard graphics to using a 280X and I saw improvements of only 20%.

Getting a better GPU will do nothing for your performance in Minecraft, using optifine or getting a better CPU will give you real gains.

I was almost certain that I remember someone saying that Minecraft is a little more CPU intensive than your average game.  Take this into account.
