Mafia history intrigues me and I immensely enjoyed Mafia II, this is the best video game news I've heard in a while!

 

Hopefully it's a great game, would love to throw down $60 for this day one.

I need to play the first two. Got them from steam sale but never got a chance to play it. Got stuck playing L.A Noire instead.

Cant wait. I loved 1 and 2. I hope at the end of this one I can actually get free roam.. Mafia 1 had it, but 2 didnt? please 2k, we need free play.

I completed Mafia 1 about 14 times and left well over 2k hours in it. I completed Mafia 2 only once and I played none of the DLCs. Not that it was a bad game but it never won my heart like the first one did. I hope that this third one will be awesome.

So? Still, Lincoln Clay (The protagonist) is a black man and only Italian get accepted in the mafia. About my rant about the voice actor, I was just sayin', everytime he speaks I think of Henry.

I wanted italian chars, not americans (No harm against americans, just, it's the mafia, not a street gang), that black woman, the ginger, only the one in the suit looks like appropriate for this fucking game!

Mafia 1 and 2 had different characters. Mafia newer followed stories up. How can you even expect the same characters.

Every Mafia game spanned decades. Continuing stories just doesn't work. This is going to be another city most likely.
