Headphones no longer work on my PC?

Hello everyone, 

 

So I was watching a movie, and the audio was really low, so I went and tried to adjust the "Enhancements" on the sounds in windows

I turned the Bass Boost and Loudness Equalization on and then suddenly I hear nothing

 

I turned them on and my PC lagged for a moment and then came back again. 

I resumed my movie, but there's no audio what so ever.

I restarted my PC and the issue resumes.

 

I'm using apple headphones, and I've used them for a long time, I don't like headsets because I have a big head.

 

anyways, please help. thanks.

CPU: A8-5600K GPU: MSI RX 480 GAMING X 4GB MOBO: ASUS A55BM-PLUS 

RAM: 2x 4GB Samsung DDR3-1600 1.25V PSU: Corsair CX430 CASE: Enermax Ostrog Windowed STORAGE: PNY CS1111 120GB / Hitachi 1TB 7200RPM OS: Windows 10 Pro & macOS Sierra 10.12.3

What drivers? I don't have any audio drivers, its PnP I believe

They work, its just my PC doesn't want them to work.
